To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

• To be eligible for the Masters Qualifying Program (Standard) at Macquarie University, international applicants must have completed post-secondary studies equivalent to an Australian Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree. Recognized qualifications include GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB), Chinese Gao Kao, Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), and other country-specific certificates. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at a "Vocational" level, which is equivalent to an overall Academic IELTS score of 6.0, with no band less than 5.5, or equivalent scores in other accepted English language tests. Those who do not meet the academic or English requirements may be eligible to enter through a pathway program such as the Standard Foundation Program.

• While the Masters Qualifying Program (Standard) itself does not lead directly to employment
• it serves as a pathway to various master's degrees at Macquarie University. Graduates may pursue careers such as business analyst

• depending on the master's program they choose to undertake.
