Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • University level (AQF Level 7) qualification in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, other natural and physical sciences or relevant Health related fields (HEIMS fields to be provided to admissions) Or 2 years or more relevant professional experience or training subject to the approval of the Academic Chair Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) - No band below 169.
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) - No band below 50.
  • Occupational English Test (OET) - OET with a minimum of C (250-290) in each of the four components.
  • Internet-based Phoenix English Proficiency Test (iPEPT) Higher Ed (entry into semester 2 2020 and semester 1 2021 only - Overall Grade of B+ with no band below B2+.
  • IELTS Overall 6, listening min. 6, Reading min. 6, Writing min. 6, Speaking min. 6
  • TOEFL IBT Overall 73, listening min. 18, Reading min. 18, Writing min. 18, Speaking min. 18
  • TOEFL PBT Overall 73, listening min. 18, Reading min. 18, Writing min. 18, Speaking min. 18
  • PTE 50
