Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • To enter the 9-Trimester Bachelor of Games Development (Games Programming) program at SAE Creative Media Institute, international students need to be at least 18 years old (or turning 18 during their first trimester) and have completed secondary school studies equivalent to Australian Year 12 with a minimum overall pass. They must also meet the English language requirements, typically an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent. Additionally, a keen interest in programming, aptitude in mathematics, and basic understanding of game design are expected
