Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • This course has closing dates to submit applications that vary from standard UC application submission dates. For a semester 1 start, applications are due by the 31st October; for a semester 2 start, applications are due by 30th June.
  • Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements: A) completion of a qualifying psychology degree which is accredited by the Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) or equivalent* within the last 10 years. The qualifying degree can be either: i) a three year undergraduate psychology course or ii) a Graduate Diploma for candidates who previously completed an undegraduate degree in a different discipline B) Credit average in the APAC-required second and third year psychology units or graduate diploma units.
  • Entry is competitive. Applications are ranked by performance (GPA) in the APAC-required second and third year psychology / graduate diploma units. Thus, a higher than minimum GPA is generally needed to be offered a place.
