Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • Candidates wishing to apply for the Master of Health (Research) must show evidence of the following: - Recognised undergraduate health sciences degree at honours level or - Recognised health science degree and health experience, with demonstrated capacity and/or aptitude for research.
  • - Approval of your study plans with a supervising academic.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience in health would be an advantage. If you have no prior research training, we would advise undertaking the combined coursework/research training option in the course.
  • Additional admission requirements Students commencing in semester 2 can enrol part-time only.
  • Candidates are also required to complete a Research Education Program that will enable them to acquire the generic skills and attributes identified as appropriate for graduates of postgraduate research programs at the University of Canberra.
