Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • A completed bachelor degree in any discipline with a credit or higher average*.
  • * Applicants without a degree but with a combination of pre-tertiary qualifications and work experience or professional membership (Equivalent Graduate Status) may apply.
  • This course has an early closing date to submit applications by the 1st December of every year.
  • Admission to this course is competitive. Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic merit and the number of available places. Please be advised that if you submit your application after the advertised closing date, your application may not be considered.
  • Additional Admission Requirements All students are required to undergo a 'working with vulnerable people' check and the relevant Federal Police Check prior to undertaking clinical practice. Results of the police check must be satisfactory for students to be accepted for practice education placements in a variety of health care settings. Clinical practice placements are essential to the program and are assessed, and may be outside of normal teaching time. Prior to commencing clinical practice, all students need to present a complete immunisation schedule, details of which will be provided by the Placement Office.
