Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • To be eligible for the University of Tasmania's (UTAS) Bachelor of Surveying and Spatial Sciences, applicants typically need to have completed qualifications equivalent to the Australian Year 12 (or its international equivalent) with a sufficient academic standard. Specifically, for domestic students with recent secondary education, the course has a guaranteed ATAR of 65, though the lowest ATAR for an offer can vary each year. International students will need to demonstrate English language proficiency, typically through an IELTS score of 6.0 with no band score below 5.5, or equivalent.
