Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • Candidates for the Graduate Diploma of Environmental Planning shall be qualified for entry if they have qualified for admission to a bachelor degree in any discipline at the University of Tasmania or holds a degree or other tertiary qualifications deemed by the College to be equivalent for this purpose.
  • PTE Academic - No score lower than 50 UTASAccess-English - Level 7 - 60% (no individual score less than 60%) Cambridge CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) - B Grade Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) - C Grade Cambridge BEC (Business English Certificate) Higher - C Grade
  • IELTS Overall 6, listening min. 6, Reading min. 6, Writing min. 6, Speaking min. 6
  • TOEFL IBT Overall 72, listening min. 16, Reading min. 16, Writing min. 22, Speaking min. 18
