Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • A Bachelor of Surveying and Spatial Sciences from the University of Tasmania or its equivalent.
  • IELTS Academic - 6.0 (No band less than 6.0) TOEFL (iBT) -72 (no skill below: Reading 16; Listening 16; Speaking 18; Writing 22) PTE Academic - No score lower than 50 UTASAccess-English - Level 7 - 60% (no individual score less than 60%) Cambridge English C1 Advanced or B2 First - 169 with no less than 169 in any skill.
  • IELTS Overall 6, listening min. 6, Reading min. 6, Writing min. 6, Speaking min. 6
  • TOEFL IBT Overall 72, listening min. 16, Reading min. 16, Writing min. 22, Speaking min. 18
  • PTE 50
