Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • To gain entry into the University of Wollongong's Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours), applicants need to have achieved a result equivalent to the completion of 13 years of schooling in Australia. For students with recent secondary education, assumed knowledge includes Mathematics Advanced (Band 4 or equivalent) plus one of Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, or Geography. English language proficiency is also assessed, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall and in each band (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
