Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • To enter the Western Sydney University Graduate Certificate in Interpreting and Translation, applicants generally need an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any field, plus native or near-native proficiency in English and one other language offered by the program (Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, or Spanish). Additionally, some courses may require an IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent.
