Master of Professional Psychology
Course Overview
The objective of the Master of Professional Psychology is to provide one year of full time training in the professional practice of psychology sufficient to prepare students for a final year of supervised internship to complete registration requirements. This program provides key training in ethics, psychopathology and psychological assessment, and therapeutic interventions. These are tailored to a range of mental health care issues, experienced within diverse contexts and across the lifespan and other professional skills including comprehensive training in disability, for the achievement of 50% of the requirements towards full registration as a generalist psychologist.
