Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • All fields of study (excluding Psychology):Bachelor of Science (or equivalent), with: a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale, and a GPA of at least 4.5* for 8 units of courses at level 3 or higher relevant to the honours project, and have secured an honours project and supervisor, and satisfied any additional requirements set by the head of school.
  • * GPA of at least 5.0 for the Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics fields of study.
  • Psychology field of study:UQ Bachelor of Science with: a grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 for level 2 and 3 courses in the Psychology extended major, and satisfied any additional requirements set by the head of school.
  • IELTS Overall 6.5, listening min. 6, Reading min. 6, Writing min. 6, Speaking min. 6
  • PTE 64
