Bachelor of Business Management
Course Overview
Explore a breadth of business topics and gain core capabilities across economics, international business, marketing, human resources, information systems, entrepreneurship and leadership. Combine these business fundamentals with expertise in your choice of up to 2 specialisations. Throughout the program, you'll explore the answers to questions such as: how can businesses make a profit while helping communities? how can I develop my leadership style from an ethical and socially responsible lens? how is growth in digital technology, data and AI changing business practices and customer needs? Through electives, you can further customise your program. Embrace opportunities to gain practical experience, expand your network and develop strong industry connections by completing an overseas exchange, work placement and consulting project. If you only specialise in one area, you can choose to study 8 additional elective courses from any other undergraduate program at UQ (provided you meet entry requirements). The flexibility of the program also allows you to combine it with another area of interest, with 16 dual programs to choose from including communication, education, IT or a language.
