Course Overview
Commerce graduates are in high demand for their advanced critical thinking skills and the value they bring to the global economy. Combined with the specialist capabilities you’ll gain throughout the program, you’ll graduate ready to help businesses navigate future uncertainty and change. After building a strong foundation in commerce fundamentals, you'll learn how you can apply and adapt them in response to specific challenges businesses face. You'll investigate topics such as how to: prepare and analyse financial statements for decision making manage money, value a company or an investment, participate in stock market trading and manage business risk use data, statistical methods and technology for business decision making and strategy advise businesses on their use of business information systems through better use of technology and big data. You’ll have access to work-integrated learning opportunities, including internships, industry consulting projects and student competition challenges, such as the Student Management Investment Fund and the Tech For Change Hackathon.
