Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) which includes all of the relevant discipline content (see below) You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.
  • A bachelor's degree awarded more than 5 years prior to admission will not be considered.
  • If your bachelor's degree was not awarded in computer science, you must have successfully completed all of the following discipline content in your tertiary studies: data structures and algorithms at least 2 programming courses discrete mathematics or algebra At least 2 of the following: computer organisation or computer architecture computer networks operating systems databases or information systems
  • IELTS Overall 6.5, listening min. 6, Reading min. 6, Writing min. 6, Speaking min. 6
  • PTE 64
