Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C); Chemistry (Units 3 & 4, C) (Biology also recommended), with a minimum ATAR of 99.0 (or equivalent) and UCAT ANZ (from the year you apply). View how UQ applies the UCAT scores.Applicants that apply via the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Admissions Scheme are not required to sit UCAT.
  • Minimum entry score Select where you studied and your qualification to see the minimum entry score you need to be considered for this program.
  • Use the minimum entry score as a guide. Your score must be at least equivalent to the required Australian Year 12 ATAR score. Entry requirements are subject to change.
  • IELTS Overall 7, listening min. 7, Reading min. 7, Writing min. 7, Speaking min. 7
