Course Overview
In the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) you’ll develop advanced diagnostic and clinical skills to help individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions and optimise their physical function. You'll study the theory and practice behind physiotherapy, exploring key areas including: injury prevention health promotion clinical reasoning and diagnosis therapeutic interventions exercise prescription optimising function. You’ll learn techniques to reduce pain, improve movement and restore mobility and function across a range of clinical populations spanning musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory conditions. You’ll develop the skills and knowledge to educate, lead and support healthcare teams, making a lasting impact in the community and shaping the future of healthcare practices. You'll also gain hands-on experience through supervised clinical practice in diverse settings, including hospitals, educational facilities, healthcare organisations, aged and community care, private practice and UQ’s Physiotherapy Clinics.
