Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • 2-year degree (192 units) – Semester 1 or 2 entry Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) that includes the equivalent of at least one year of full-time studies in social sciences (studies of the individual and society)*.
  • 1.5 year degree (144 units) - reduced volume of learning pathway** – Semester 1 entry only Applicants must hold: - a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) that includes the equivalent of at least one year of full-time studies in social sciences (studies of the individual and society)*; and - have successfully completed a Bachelor of Human Services, Bachelor of Community Services, Bachelor of Counselling, or Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with dissertation or equivalent qualifications which contain at least 500 hours of field education/work integrated learning.
