Course Overview
A bachelor's degree in pharmacy will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to work in rural, regional and metropolitan healthcare settings. Studies in chemistry and biology come together in this course, along with practical instruction in community and hospital pharmacy, dispensing, medication management and health counselling. You'll learn the soft skills that allow pharmacists to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds, including communication and interpersonal skills, time management, decision-making and problem-solving. You may also participate in specialist areas of study, such as rural health, vaccination training and international programs.
