Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 5.00 (credit) or greater.
  • Admission to the course is subject to the approval of your project, the college being able to provide appropriate resources, and the discipline area being able to provide suitable supervision for the program of study. Search for a supervisor.
  • This course is unavailable in psychology due to accreditation and topic prerequisites.
  • Applicants will be required to submit directly to the University a research statement for assessment by the college and potential supervisor for the 18-unit research thesis/ project component. Please complete the Graduate Diploma in Research Methods research statement form (PDF) outlining your proposed area of research and potential supervisor.
