Master of Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice
Course Overview
The program aims to introduce you to current theory and research in the application of cognitive psychology to educational issues. You will apply this theory and research to critically examine problems in cognition and instruction, consider the influences of teaching actions on learning, and examine your own teaching and develop evidence-based models for practice. Topics cover areas such as motivation, cognition and metacognition, teaching to develop motivation, the psychology of learning and instruction, and applications of psychology to learning and instruction.
