Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • To enter La Trobe University's Associate Degree of Teacher Education, applicants generally need to have completed Australian Year 12 or an equivalent, along with meeting specific subject prerequisites. For English, a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in other English is required. Applicants may also need to submit a personal statement to showcase relevant work or community experience. Selection is competitive, and meeting the minimum requirements doesn't guarantee entry.
