Course Overview
Build on your successes in the Bachelor of Health Sciences by completing Honours to enhance essential employability skills or take your first step to a career in research, academia and beyond. You'll gain a deeper understanding of research theory, design and practice principles introduced in your undergraduate degree. You'll further develop your laboratory skills, study advanced issues in health and complete a tailored health research methodology subject. To apply your research knowledge and skills, you'll undertake an original research project under the supervision of La Trobe's expert staff to produce evidence-based solutions. Honours in health sciences at Bendigo Campus also gives you the opportunity to specialise in public health and environmental health.
