Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • To be eligible for La Trobe University's Bachelor of Orthoptics (Honours), applicants need to have completed an Australian Year 12 or equivalent, with specific subject prerequisites and English language proficiency. For domestic students, an ATAR is used as part of the selection process. International students need to demonstrate equivalent qualifications and meet English language requirements, such as an IELTS score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.
