International applicants to the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) at Macquarie University must have completed a senior secondary school qualification that is deemed comparable to an Australian Year 12 credential. Accepted academic qualifications include the GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB), Gao Kao (China), and the Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), among others. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the approved tests. For IELTS Academic, a minimum overall score of 7.5 is required, with at least 7.0 in Reading and Writing, and 8.0 in Listening and Speaking. For TOEFL iBT, a total score of 105 is required, with section minimums of 24 in Reading and Writing and 26 in Listening and Speaking. For PTE Academic, an overall score of 73 is required, with at least 70 in Reading and Writing and 79 in Listening and Speaking. Applicants who do not meet direct academic or English entry requirements may be eligible for admission via a pathway program offered by Macquarie University College.
