Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you’ll need to meet one of the following academic requirements. If you’re unsure, a course advisor can help you assess your eligibility.

  • To be eligible for the Diploma of Health Sciences at Macquarie University as an international student, applicants must have completed senior secondary studies equivalent to an Australian Year 12 qualification, with recognized qualifications including GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate, Chinese Gao Kao, Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate, and other country-specific certificates. Additionally, students must demonstrate English language proficiency at a "Vocational" level, which is equivalent to an overall Academic IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent in other accepted English language tests. Those who do not meet the academic or English requirements may be eligible to enter through a pathway program such as the Standard Foundation Program.
