Airport Pickup

The University offers a free airport pick-up service to help make your way from Sydney Airport (Kingsford Smith International Airport) to your Western Sydney University campus. Please ensure you submit your request within five (5) working days of your arrival to allow sufficient time to process your request.

Western Sydney University International College offers a range of scholarships to support high-achieving and motivated international students entering its foundation and diploma programs.

International Student

The Academic Merit Scholarship provides up to 25% tuition reduction for students with excellent academic results in prior studies. Students progressing from the College to Western Sydney University may also retain partial tuition discounts for their degree programs. WSUIC occasionally offers Early Acceptance Bursaries and Regional Scholarships for students from specific countries. All awards are designed to encourage smooth transition into university studies and recognize academic excellence.

Accommodation

On Campus Accommodation

Students at Western Sydney University International College can utilise on-campus accommodation at a number of University campuses, including Parramatta, Penrith and Bankstown.
With a range of activities, sporting facilities, indoor and outdoor entertainment, living on campus at Western Sydney University is a great opportunity to meet a range of people from different cultures, make new friends and sink in to the next phase of your life.

Off Campus Accommodation

Homestays involve a single or shared room at the home of an Australian family, and is a great opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the English language and Australian culture, either for the duration of your study, or while you find your own accommodation.

Live With an Australian Family

If you are keen to experience the Australian culture, or secure short-term accommodation until you find a suitable place to stay, living with a local family can be a great choice. For all students under the age of 18, it is a legal requirement to stay with an Australian host family until you turn 18 years of age.

Homestay can help you settle in to your new life quickly, providing the opportunity to participate in the daily routine of an Australian family and practice your English language skills.
