Airport Pickup

Complete Deakin University's Airport Pick-Up Form for international students to ensure a smooth arrival in Australia with convenient transportation assistance. The airport pick-up service is free to all eligible international students arriving in Australia. Requests must be lodged at least 3 full business days prior to your departure flight. You will be unable to submit a request unless you meet this criteria. Use this form if you: Are an International degree student, exchange/study abroad student or English language student of Deakin University and You require us to assist you with booking an airport pickup on your first time arrival to Australia. If you have issues completing this form, please email airport@deakin.edu.au.

Scholarships

Deakin University provides an extensive scholarship portfolio for domestic and international students.

Domestic Student

The Vice-Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarship and Deakin Scholarship for Excellence reward top academic performers with up to full tuition coverage and living allowances.

International Student

International students are eligible for Deakin International Merit Scholarships, which offer 20–25% tuition discounts, and the Vice-Chancellor’s International Award, covering 50–100% of tuition for exceptional achievers. HDR students can access RTP Scholarships (including stipends and health cover).

International/Domestic Student

Deakin also provides Equity and Support Scholarships for students facing financial or personal hardship.

On campus accommodation

Living on campus is the best way to immerse yourself in the Deakin experience. We offer accommodation across all our campuses with various lease lengths available. Life on campus is both affordable and secure - it is the perfect place to meet new people and live close to where you study. Indicative weekly rates: A$285 - A$362

Off campus accommodation

There are plenty of options if you'd like to live off campus. Deakin's HouseMe website provides a database of local houses available to rent, near to each campus.

Our on-campus accommodation isn't just for students. We welcome academics, school groups, families and individuals to stay with us throughout the year in Burwood and Warrnambool, and for the summer months in Geelong.
