Course Overview
This dual degree prepares pre-service teachers to teach economics and business in the senior phase of schooling. By completing core business courses and a major in Business Economics, you’ll graduate ready to teach these subjects at a secondary school level. Throughout the education component of your studies, you'll be immersed in hands-on workshops, school visits and supervised professional placements. These experiences will give you a strong, practical understanding of day-to-day life in a school. You’ll also develop the appropriate knowledge and teaching strategies to effectively deal with literacy and numeracy demands.
